John (Jack) J. Hawk, Sr., LUTCF, FSS, LACP, ALMI has more than 30 years of direct sales and executive sales leadership in the financial services industry, holding executive leadership positions with some of the largest and well known insurance and financial services companies in the nation.
Jack is a long-time member of GAMA, LIDMA, NAIFA and NAHU, a perineal moderator for the American College's LUTCF and FSS designation programs and a past presenter at LIMRA’s Recruiting, Selection, and Retention Summit.
A strong entrepreneurial spirit, interest in the financial services industry and subsequent research in the areas of insurance, credit and lending, taxes and investments provided Jack the foundation to author several articles on these subjects over the past decade. In 1993 he authored a "how-to" guide to assist businesses and consumers on establishing credit and use it wisely. Since then, this publication has been and remains one of the most downloaded guides on the internet.
Jack is involved in various community organizations and nonprofit groups in his home town of Omaha, Nebraska, including leadership positions with:
The Omaha Street School: a private, alternative, faith-based high school reaching Omaha’s at-risk youth. Jack served on the board of directors from 2002 to 2007 and rejoined the board in January of 2010.
The Omaha Association of Health Underwriters: Jack completed his second term on the Board in early 2007 and chaired the Media Relations Committee.
A member of Omaha Christian Academy’s Board of Directors from 2004 to 2007.
Jack served as a board member of Living Faith Church's board from 2004 to 2007.
Jack served on the Nelson’s Creek Homeowner’s Association Board of Directors, elected to the board in 2004 and served as president from 2005 to 2009.
In 1989, Jack married his high school sweetheart; Camille (Brown) Hawk, JD, a successful Omaha real estate, banking and lending attorney and shareholder of the firm Walentine, O'Toole, McQuillan, & Gordon. Camille is also very involved various organizations in Omaha. Together they enjoy giving back to their community, managing their rental property portfolio and spending time with their four children.
